Every renovation starts by taking something out
Before a yard can be rebuilt, whatever is there has to go. Old lawn that never recovered, a cracked concrete patio, pavers that have heaved, decorative rock nobody chose, a retaining wall that’s leaning. Demolition is the unglamorous first phase, and doing it carelessly makes everything afterwards harder.
We remove old turf, concrete, patios, pavers, edging, rock, bark, failing walls and abandoned hardscape from residential and commercial properties across the Tooele and Salt Lake valleys. Everything gets loaded and hauled to appropriate disposal: concrete, green waste and general debris handled separately, and all of it in the bid rather than added at the end.
The part that separates a clean demolition from a costly one is what we do before any machine starts. Sprinkler heads, valve boxes, control wiring, gas lines and low-voltage runs get located and flagged. Planting you’re keeping gets marked. On rural lots there are often private lines nobody has a record of, so we ask what you know and work carefully in those areas. Cutting an irrigation mainline mid-demolition turns one job into two, and we have been hired to fix exactly that after somebody else.
Demolition is also the moment to look at the ground underneath. With the surface off you can finally see the real grade, where water has been going, and what the soil is actually like. That is why we scope demolition with the rebuild in mind. The site gets left the way the next phase needs it, not just empty.

Common problems we solve
A patio that’s cracked past repair
Poured concrete cracks are permanent. Once a slab has heaved or split badly, removal and a properly based paver patio is a better use of money than patching.
A lawn nobody can rescue
Compaction, thatch and years of uneven irrigation eventually put a lawn beyond aeration and overseeding. Taking it out and resetting the soil gives the new turf a real chance.
Old hardscape blocking a better layout
A wall in the wrong place, a walkway to nowhere, a rock bed that dates the whole yard. Removing them opens up the design options.
Debris another contractor left behind
It happens more than it should. We clear it, haul it, and get the property back to a workable starting point.
