1. Agreement to these terms

By using ylclandscaping.com or hiring YLC Landscaping, LLC ("we", "us", "our") to perform work, you agree to these terms and to all applicable Utah and federal law. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or engage our services.

2. Services we provide

YLC Landscaping, LLC is a licensed and insured landscaping contractor based in Grantsville, UT, serving residential and commercial properties across the Tooele and Salt Lake valleys. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Landscape Design
  • Sprinkler System Installation & Repair
  • Sod Installation & Removal
  • Retaining Walls
  • Patios & Outdoor Living
  • Drip Irrigation Installation
  • Tree & Plant Installation
  • Gravel & Edging
  • Grading
  • Land Clearing
  • Rock Walls
  • Landscape Maintenance
  • Demolition
  • Landscape edging, gravel and rock installation, and mulching

3. Estimates and quotes

On-site estimates are free and carry no obligation. Every estimate is itemized so you can see materials, labour and each phase of work separately. Estimates are based on the conditions visible at the time of the visit. If we uncover conditions we could not reasonably see beforehand, such as buried debris, unmarked utilities, rock, or unexpected soil conditions, we will stop, explain the change, and agree a revised price with you before continuing. We will not add cost without telling you first.

Quoted prices are valid for 30 days unless we state otherwise. Material prices can move, and we will re-quote if a bid sits unaccepted beyond that window.

4. Scheduling, weather and delays

Landscaping work depends on ground and weather conditions. Frozen or saturated ground, heavy rain, extreme heat, and material availability can all push a schedule. We will keep you informed and reschedule as soon as conditions allow. Deadlines such as HOA compliance dates should be shared with us in writing at the time of booking so we can plan around them, but we cannot guarantee a date that depends on weather or third-party supply.

5. Pricing and payment

Prices are quoted in USD. We accept PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, Check. Payment terms, including any deposit and the schedule for progress payments, are confirmed in writing before work begins. Balances are due on completion unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

6. Access, utilities and site conditions

You agree to provide safe access to the property and to tell us about anything buried or hidden that we should know about, including private irrigation lines, low-voltage lighting, septic systems, invisible pet fencing and utility runs installed by others. We take reasonable care to locate and protect existing irrigation and utilities, and we will arrange public utility locates where required. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked private lines we were not told about.

7. Cancellation and rescheduling

Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a booked visit. Late cancellations after materials have been ordered or delivered may incur a charge covering those non-returnable costs. We will always tell you the amount before applying it.

8. Plant, sod and workmanship

We stand behind our workmanship. Living material such as sod, trees, shrubs and other plants depends heavily on watering and aftercare once we leave, so establishment is a shared responsibility: we install correctly and give you a written watering and care plan, and you follow it. Any specific warranty on plant material, sod or irrigation components is stated on your written estimate or invoice. If something is not right with our work, tell us promptly and we will come back and look at it.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, YLC Landscaping, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from the use of this website or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Website content and intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, photographs and layout, is the property of YLC Landscaping, LLC or used with permission, and is protected by copyright. You may not reproduce or republish it commercially without our written consent. Information on this site is general guidance about landscaping in Utah, not a professional assessment of your specific property. Prices, timelines and ranges shown are illustrative and are not a quote.

11. Third-party links and programs

We may link to third-party sites, including water conservation and rebate programs. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, eligibility rules or decisions. Rebate program requirements change, so confirm current terms directly with the program before relying on them.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here. The terms in force when you accepted your estimate govern that particular job.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
