## Every renovation starts by taking something out

Before a yard can be rebuilt, whatever is there has to go. Old lawn that never recovered, a cracked concrete patio, pavers that have heaved, decorative rock nobody chose, a retaining wall that’s leaning. Demolition is the unglamorous first phase, and doing it carelessly makes everything afterwards harder.

We remove old turf, concrete, patios, pavers, edging, rock, bark, failing walls and abandoned hardscape from residential and commercial properties across the Tooele and Salt Lake valleys. Everything gets loaded and hauled to appropriate disposal: concrete, green waste and general debris handled separately, and all of it in the bid rather than added at the end.

The part that separates a clean demolition from a costly one is what we do before any machine starts. Sprinkler heads, valve boxes, control wiring, gas lines and low-voltage runs get located and flagged. Planting you’re keeping gets marked. On rural lots there are often private lines nobody has a record of, so we ask what you know and work carefully in those areas. What can you remove before a landscape redo?

Old turf, concrete slabs and patios, pavers and flagstone, edging, decorative rock and bark, failing retaining walls, old sheds and fence lines, and general debris. It all gets loaded and hauled to appropriate disposal as part of the job.

Do you protect my sprinklers during demolition?

Yes. Locating and flagging heads, valve boxes and control wiring is the first thing we do, before any machine moves. Anything staying gets protected. Cutting an irrigation mainline mid-demolition turns one job into two, and we've been called in to fix exactly that after other contractors.

How much does landscape demolition cost?

Projects commonly start around $1,000 and scale with volume. Disposal weight is the biggest factor. Reinforced concrete costs considerably more to break and haul than turf or bark. Access is the other one: a back yard we can drive equipment into is far cheaper than one we hand-barrow out of.

What happens to all the debris?

It leaves with us and goes to appropriate disposal, with concrete, green waste and general debris handled separately. Disposal is a line item on your estimate so you can see what it costs rather than finding it added at the end.

Can you remove concrete?

Yes. Slabs, patios, walkways and old driveways all come out. Reinforced concrete takes more work to break and weighs considerably more to haul, so we assess it on site rather than quoting blind from a photo.

What happens after demolition?

Grading, normally. With the old surface off you can finally see the actual grade and drainage, and that's the moment to correct fall away from the house before anything new goes down. Then irrigation, soil and the new install follow.

How long does demolition take?

Small removals like a turf area or a modest slab are often a single day. Larger jobs with multiple surfaces, significant concrete or difficult access take several. We give you a real timeframe at the estimate.

Will you damage my driveway with equipment?

We take care with access routes and use mats or plywood where a surface needs protecting. Tell us about anything you're particularly concerned about, a new driveway, a soft lawn area, an irrigation run under a track, and we'll plan around it.

Can I keep some of the material?

Sure. Plenty of customers want to keep decorative rock, pavers or flagstone for reuse elsewhere. Tell us before we start and we'll stack it somewhere out of the way rather than loading it.

Do you do demolition without the rebuild?

Yes. Removal-only jobs are common: clearing space for a builder, another contractor, or a project you're doing yourself. We'll leave the site clean and tell you honestly what condition the ground is in for whatever comes next.
